...minutes and let's get familiar with the upcoming new content.
While initially Ruby Sanctum will not be our main focus (we haven't killed LK yet), evenutally we will be taking some time out of the raid week to kill this boss.
Currently the thinking is to let the 10s groups get their shots in, thus giving ~20 people some practice with the encounter. We'll then roll in and take it down.
For now, Therod (thanks T) has posted some delicious information (copied below) on the forums, and I've got a link to Vodka's 25man PTR kill.
So like the song, take five & study the portions of the encounter that affect YOU.
- If you're not a tank, you don't really need to understand her breath mechanic
- If you're a dps, then you don't really need know what if anything there is to dispell.
- If you're a healer, then you should probably study up on her damaging abilities.
- etc...etc...etc...

All Phases 
Twilight Precision Halion's insight into movement between phases allows him to deal unexpected strikes, increasing his chance to hit by 5% and reducing the enemies' chance to dodge his attacks by 20%.
Phase 1 - Physical Realm 
Meteor Strike Deals 75000 to 85000 Fire damage to enemies within 12 yards. The Meteor lands after a few seconds and shoots lines of fires throughout the area. In heroic mode, it also spawns a Living Inferno add. ( Meteor Strike ) 
Flame Breath Inflicts 39375 to 50625 Fire damage to enemies in a cone in front of the caster. 45 yd range. 2 sec cast. 
Fiery Combustion Engulfs an enemy target in flame, dealing 4000 Fire damage every 2 sec. Every time Fiery Combustion deals damage, it generates a Mark of Combustion charge on the target. When Combustion fades or is dispelled, it unleashes a patch of fire proportional in size to the number of charges present at the time. Either curse or magic removal may cleanse this affliction. 
Combustion Deals 7000 to 9000 Fire damage and causes an additional 2000 Fire damage every 2 sec to targets that remain within the explosion area. 6 yards radius.
Phase 2 (75% Health) - Twilight Realm 
Dusk Shroud An aura of twilight energy emanates from the caster, causing nearby enemies to suffer 6000 Shadow damage every 2 sec. Affects all player in the Twilight Realm. 
Twilight Cutter Fires a beam of concentrated twilight energy, dealing massive Shadow damage to any enemies that make contact with it. The Twilight Cutter beam is created by the two spheres rotating around the area during the Twilight Realm Phase. The beam lasts 10 seconds and appears every 30 seconds. 
Dark Breath Inflicts 39375 to 50625 Shadow damage to enemies in a cone in front of the caster. 45 yds. 2 sec cast 
Soul Consumption Engulfs an enemy target in dark energy, dealing 4000 Shadow damage every 2 sec. Every time Soul Consumption deals damage, it generates a Mark of Consumption charge on the target. When Consumption fades or is dispelled, it unleashes a dark explosion proportional to the number of charges present at the time. Either curse or magic removal may cleanse this affliction. 
Consumption Deals 8750 to 11250 Shadow damage every second to targets within 6 yards.
Phase 3 (50% Health) - Corporeality 
Corporeality In the last phase of the fight, Halion opens portals to the Physical and Twilight realms and the raid has to split to fight him in both phases. He starts with 50% Corporeality, the % goes up and down depending on how much damage Halion takes in both realms, if you deal a lot of damage in the physical realm he will start dealing and taking less damage in the Twilight realm, and vice versa.
The goal in this last phase of the fight is to balance the amount of DPS in both realms to make sure the Corporeality % stays between 40 and 60%.

Just over 9 months and 1 week ago Kliner joined our little guild.
Since that day, he's added such warmth, guidance, friendliness, a helping hand, and leadership for our little family, that his absence from this wonderful community that he has helped built, will be immensely missed.
I for one have made a great friend.
As they say, "Keep your head down" while you're out there,
and come back to us safe and sound!

Well the early polls seem to say that our first scavenger hunt was a real success. I know had a blast watching The Trade Federation go 0-2 with Dr. Weavil! Finally dropping him on try
Plus, getting all those tells of, "Why the hell did you pick TIHS item way the hell over HERE" were most amusing. As if I had to even say why. =)
I'll be posting the winning teams below later today. Didn't have much free time this afternoon. Thanks again to all of you for helping to make this such a success.

Well, I know we were only able to raid one day this week; however, that day proved rather successful.
Knights of the Shadows pulled down Blood-Queen Lana'thel in true, J ack Bauer-esque style with only...
24!Perhaps we should begin confirming
a full raid (minus one) every week. =)
Gonna start fresh in ICC this coming week,

Old news I know, but I thought I'd re-post our first kill (or save really) of DW.
- Because you lazy-ass PvP'ers won't send me any pics!!!!
- Because I can add a cool song by the Mode; which yes, Bazz has never heard before & I'm sure Eo can't stand.
W e're still going strong and making progress through ICC 25man. Last night's raid jumped into that fight well prepared, as the first attempt we got her back up to 97% (ish) health ... almost a one shot! After a quick regrouping, we kept with the same plan and had a clean downing (by "clean downing" I mean that all of us were dead, screaming our blood-curdling deaththrows over vent...you know...the usual KotS first kill), although Kikki may have died on this attempt.

L ooks like Moose lead the pack on heals for this attempt, although I still think he cheated. A fun stat not shown here is that we were each holding around 30 stacks of Emerald Vigor near the end of the fight. Outside of the top 4, healing numbers may be off, as I'm not sure that logging was accurate whenever I was in the Emerald Dream getting buffs.
Honorable mentions:
- Eolas, for leading in offspec healing.
- Bronze medal goes to Therod who kept his dps up, while up-chucking into a pail beside him. That's some hella multi-tasking brother!
- Props to Oni for making Duncan cry.
- Kudos to Mahg for healing the boss...somehow...Bandage heal FTW?

Welcome to May! Finals have started for some of you, we are right in the middle of patches, and real life has crept up on a few of us.
The transition to the summer begins now, and many guilds are struggling to fill in the gaps during this period. Historically this lull lasts a few weeks, but it looks like we aren't going to let this slow us down!
Professor Putricide has fallen to KotS! It was an incredibly smooth downing and the communication within the raid was what sealed our success. No doubt that he will be a regular downing in the weeks to come, which will now grant both of our 25man raiding nights opportunities for Tier 10 tokens! Ladies and gentlemen, both Tuesday and Thursday are going to be balanced to include farm bosses, Tier 10 boss, and progression bosses. Huzzahs are in order (that's a Futurama quote).

...for leading the 3 groups each week. This week was another one of those weeks where we had 3 great teams running 10man ICC! If that wasn't enough of an accomplishment, Jacyrot's team has now officially brought the guild to 11/12 in ICC 10man! I've also been informed that during this same raid, the Lich King was brought down to 20-30%! Way to go guys!
